Founder

 

Jami founded Diamond Learning Center in 2005. She began her work experience in Special Education with the Fresno County Schools Adult Transition Program which educates special needs adults ages 18 through 22 years of age. She has been a Special Olympic chaperone and coach for 15 years.

She was nominated for “Teacher of the Year” for Central Unified School District and

the "Spirit of Philanthropy" award in 2007 which recognizes her Spirit of philanthropy through contributions of time, efforts and resources.

Jami was awarded a Certificate of Recognition from Fresno County Board of Supervisors for the Celebration of Learning Event in 2009 and was also nominated for "Woman of the Year 2010 Top Ten Professional Women Award" through the Marjoree Mason Center. In addition, Jami was nominated for the prestigious "Exceptional Meritorious Service Award offered by the National Down Syndrome Congress.  email: jami@dlclife.org
